Does anyone know what springs are on the boot of a my06 spec c, as I have fitted an aluminium bootlid to my my05 jdm sti but retained my high level spoiler. The springs are to strong and I need to change them, I was thinking of trying some wrx ones if I can get some

I don't think any of the Spec C's came with torsion bars fitted to the boot lid, to be honest I didn't think any WRX's came with them either.

 

My Spec C had the WRX style spoiler and when you poped open the boot it would fully open. Now Ive fitted a genuine STI rear spoiler it wont fully open.

So Im guessing that the Spec C used WRX ones due to it being a small spoiler.

Where abouts are you Daz? if your not too far from me we could try swapping them over.
