I would be shocked if Andy was any more expensive give or take than any of the other mappers that have a wealth of subaru experience.

Andy will charge less than a rebuild lol

Well worth paying out for a good mapper imo. Ive heard nothing but good about Andy Forrest and im sure its money well spent.
I went with Bob Rawle and i must say it was worth every penny. Car is not only a lot faster but is just a nicer car all round to drive now.

Exactly, you can not be shocked when cheap does not work out (unless a bargain had presented itself ). My car has been mapped by Andy, Steve Simpson and Andrew Carr and all did a great job for similar money

Pay the man you tight wad, it will be money well spent..
If i lived up there he's the only bloke i'd let touch mine, in fact i wish i did live there all those quiet country roads and one of the best subaru men in the business to look after your car.

Some people don't know when they are well off.

A good few off the scottish guys use Trackhound in edinburgh, not interested in any debates which this type off thread normally leads to, all I am saying is having done a bit homework myself this guy has a fine reputation and yet to here any bad stories regards his mapping, he is normally booked up a few months in advance which surely in itself speak volumes but certainly worth a phone call / visit to discuss what you are looking for from him- last time I enquired he was charging £200 for a os remap and £50 for any extras on top of this ie. launch control, dual boost etc.
