I run an excedy pink in mine and that was spec'd for 450bhp and a 6 speed box

You can't beat them for the price to be honest if you're not planning on giving it too much abuse on the strip, if you're planning on doing lots of launches on the strip though you need to look at an excedy twin plate but they don't come cheap.

If you are running above 450 BHP you may be better off with a twin plate.

Or this one will also handle the power you have.

ACT single plate's the way to go IMO. Feels much like a OEM clutch all be it a bit stiffer but will cope with 450 Bhp and similar torque all day long

if you have 450+ in a hawkeye sti then its most probably a 2.5l so will have a lot of torque too.an exedy twin will handle the power fine on track and fast road use,but if its going to get a lot of use on the drag strip then you will burn the top plate out in no time.if its dragging your doing the most of then i would go for a carbonnetics or os giken triple plate.after going through 2 exedy twins through launching i fitted a carbonnetics triple and so far its been ok.
