Smile Hello

Hello am new to the site, I hope this is the right place for these posts?...

I picked this up on friday. It is my first Subaru, having previously had Fords and VW's.

Bug eye 2002 STI with PPP. Am very happy with it, I suppose the 257 miles off of my first tank of V power backs that up hahaha!

No real plans for the car atm, going to give it an oil change and a once over next week and go from there...

Here is the obligatory crap phone pic, will stick a couple more up if people want after Ive cleaned it properly...

Cheers Ben

Thats a lot of miles from a full tank I struggle with 100 lol did you leave it parked up most of the time or something lmaooooo.

Don't worry about cleaning it might has got all kinds of stuff from the A and B raods just shows it has been driven but I do wanna clean it. Although given the chance I drive it when I can lmaoooo.

Very nice. I hope you enjoy it!

I'd struggle to get 180miles out of mine! Maybe you were going downhill with the wind blowing in your direction :P

lmaooooooo motorway driving at 60mph in a scooby jk. Keep to the speed limit.

Went to the scooby meet the other day and there was a convoy. All I'm saying is my car sucked off more petrol at constant motorway driving then it does around town. Was keeping to 70mph but often found the sat nav going nuts because I kinda hit 100+ lol

Ssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell any 1.

Oh when it comes to oil don't use castorol or mobile. The oil that has the magnitix or coating technology seems to wear away at the turbo engine parts so hardly any scooby owners use them.

hahaha good times.

cool I will toss a coin between the millers and silkolene oil then, as have used silkolene (now fuchs I think) before and have heard alot of people rate the millers for use in subaru's

I used to have one of those

First bit of advice - get it remapped by someone that knows what they're doing.
PPP reports of 305hp
You'll not be getting that figure
If you get it remapped, you'll notice a massive difference
Full power will be available earlier and for longer.
Currently that car will not really "go" until approx 4K, then it'll begin to run out of puff approx 5.5K

Cheers urban I have heard that about the ppp being abit pot luck. It certainly seems to go well enough without any real let up higher in the revs.

To my knowledge it is standard bar a cat back exhaust system... I wil get it on some rollers to see what it is actually doing.

Loving it so far though!

331 miles every 2 weeks and still have some left in the tank, sitting at 90mph unless in traffic.

Sod the rollers - really, don't waste your money
Have it mapped and then they can do an ecutek road dyno for you.
