I don't have any experience with the Scoob but on my last car I used Dynamat sound deadening and in all fairness it was spot on. It's self adhesive too so it's pretty easy to use.

I used dynamat xtreme which I bought on ebay in the US.

Did the boot, under the back seat, the floor and the doors.

Personally I would say doing the boot makes a massive difference to masking the exhaust noise.

I don't wanna sound like an idiot but if your sound proofing then your are probably adding speaker, amp and subs etc. Why lol.

Don't do it. Don't you want to hear that burbble, the turbo spooling the engine etc lol.

1. wipe panel with a solvent cleaner
2. heat the sound proofing material with a heat gun (to make it supple)
3. Peel it back and stick - ensuring you get all the bubbles out (i used a wall paper roller)

done

in my old white sport classic i used a mix of sound deadening tar pads along with carpet underlay on the floor pan, this really made hell of a difference to the car.

for those talking of weight, its minimal, its the difference of a half a tank of petrol
