Currently drive saab 9000 cse lpt. Have not towed with this car which is auto having previously destroyed two autoboxes on previous 2.9 scorpio. Legacy 2.5 seems very attractive proposition - compact 4 wheel drive, reliable and sensible tow car, if a bit thirsty. Any experiences with legacies towing would be much appreciated, both manual and auto, and advice as to any mods which might be appropriate, eg oil cooler for auto trans, additional engine cooling etc Many Thanks

Allegedly the H6 was towcar of the year according to the caravan club. You're best to check out the US legacy sites as they aren't so stuck up their own ***** as these impreza boys

Obviously if the Impreza is good then the Legacy should equally as good if not better...
