Default RC IMPREZA FROM SCOOBYWORLD ?

Hi guys,
Has anyone bought one of the RC imprezas from scoobyworld as I was thinking of buying one for my lad for xmas. They say it does up to 40 mph which is decent, not sure how long the battery will last though !!
Thanks.

Added Nitro and Brushless models to our range today

If we get some free time this week (although not looking likely) we'll unbox one and get some videos done

the electric one wont do 40 out of the box not with an rs540 motor 20mph tops, been racing them for years here's a quick vid of my test day car is schumacher mi3.5 running speedpassion 10.5 brushless motor and lipo cells, all in all about £700 worth of race car not including all the spares i keep mine was reaching 36mph on the straight this is geared low as my club track is slightly smaller,

ps rc cars are so much fun but racing get addictive

mine is the white car and thats the tyres squeeling when they get up to temp

I can totally understand how addictive they must be to keep uprating them. I looked at a second hand nitro for sale a while ago but it seemed far too technical. If the electric ones look good in the vid I'd be up for a group buy, would think they'd be quite a bit of interest on here too.

I've got the Nitro Savage and its always in bits .. every time I take it out I break something else .. excellent fun and shockingly quick/strong.. but not for the low incomes (like me) or those with no spare time.

That's the one I looked at (savage), £800 worth for £200 but as said, it looked a full time job. My lad still wanted it but he spotted my red bull in the glove box and settled for that. This is why I was thinking of this electric one, no fuss straight out the box, just a question of the speed really.

Awesome vid, great driving. I have a Schumacher Fireblade up in my loft from years ago, may have to dig it out soon and see if it still works

If you get one definatly go for the brushless version..

I run 1/5th scale petrol offroad cars which are great fun and realistic but I recently got hold of a few brushless off road buggies and trucks of ebay and they are blisteringly quick!!!!

Lipo batteries are a must though to get he best run times and performance from brushless cars but once you've got a few lipo's and learnt the correct charging methods...they are awsome and far, far better than the brushed electric motor powered cars!!!!!!!

While they are good for a laugh.

I remember about a dozen years ago getting one as as an xmas present
Probably took me two days to build and paint it, and I crashed it within the space of 20 mins

They look good but my 9 year lad would just wreck it, that's why I'm tempted to just buy an out of the box rc car as an extra for xmas. The one from scoobyworld would be ideal but it would be nice to see it working first, hopefully they'll get a vid of it this week. I've just bought some rear shocks off them so this might sway them. Ha ha.

I hear ya - i'm well aware what is possible as i had £££'s in buggy racing back in the day,i was just sceptical that a seemingly cheap rc car could go that fast.
