Default Richard Burns Foundation - Paint it orange

Hi all,

just wanted to make you aware of the Richard Burns Foundation's latest push for charity fund raising. Paint it Orange.

The Richard Burns Foundation has launched a 'Paint It Orange' charity T-shirt campaign to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Burns' World Rally Championship title.

The foundation campaigns and raises funds to assist those suffering from neurological injury and illnesses in the UK, inspired by 2001 WRC champion Burns, who died from a brain tumour in 2005.

The 'Paint It Orange' campaign will see stars from across motorsport wearing the commemorative T-shirts, with fans encouraged to post pictures of themselves in the T-shirts on the charity's Facebook page.

Richard Burns Foundation patron and former British Touring Car champion Jason Plato said: "It's staggering how many famous people are pulling these great orange t-shirts over their heads and inspiring the public to buy one too, especially if they are heading to Wales in a few weeks' time.

"I confidently predict the valleys will be painted orange - it's a great way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Richard's greatest achievement."

The campaign will also feature several Formula 1 stars wearing the T-shirts at this weekend's Indian Grand Prix.

'Paint it Orange' T-shirts signed by WRC and F1 drivers will be among the items up for grabs at a Richard Burns Foundation charity auction in Cardiff on the Saturday night of Wales Rally GB in November.

The t-shirts are available here :

And i can vouch for the quality.

The RBF have also released a moving video to support Paint it orange, see here.
