Says it's been a second car, maybe bought on a whim and not driven much?

shame really, if it was black it would be worth its asking price... sadly upon buying this delightful automobile, he chose the colour of custard... thus losing about 10k before it left the forecourt

I was a member of the MLR when i had my Evo, & there were a LOT of people on there that had them as second cars, and wouldnt use them in rain/snow/ice etc.
I met a guy with a mint Evo VI Tommi Mak edition & it was a 2000 or 2001 model with about 10k on it. Although in his defense, it was 410bhp & most of those miles were done on a track, or at events.
Many people just like to keep their Evo's clean & stored away for the few times they can enjoy them!
I don't do this at all i should add, my Evo was a daily, as is my Impreza, but each to his own. And it does mean there are some truely stunning examples out there when they come to sell

I just think that even as a second car for a few hours a week 4000 in 8yrs is like a trip to the shop only... seems a waste.

My wrx had 70k on it 4 years ago, it just hit 81k this month. I drive it daily but live, work and play in one town these days. Even a few runs into the country don't add up to much in the grand scheme of things.

My sons EVO IX is a 55 plate and has just turned 10k Always covered and now he has his own house, garaged. It IS cleaner than the day he bought it from new! I keep hinting but he won't sell it to me!

Don't forget, some things deteriorate with lack of use

Never get £15k even with the low miles, probably adds something to the price though. Low miles must be better than high all things being equal eg it's been serviced every year etc.
