Wouldn't say they were any more or less desirable than other colours. At the time I had my classic shape and prior to the resurgence of white cars I'd say they were just as popular. Green was my least favourite Scoob colour and that's mainly because I think green cars are unlucky.

If clean and well polished the Mica Red looked superb

I like mica red although mine is dark or deep blue mica 95h! Both colours look good on a sunny day.

And as for it being least desireable?? I would say it's one of the most desirable colours, especially as it was only available on MY00 cars.

I'm organising a trip next year. Been twice now but the lad who usually helps organise it cant make it in 2012 so I'll be sorting it.

Got to wait for the TF calendar to come out late Jan/Feb then will set a date and put the feelers out. Only got 1 dry lap this year when we went in June, gutted I could only manage a 9m29s as it was too greasy out there.

Those wheels are gunmetal Inovit Redlines, got Rota GRAs on it now as fancied a change.

If the car is in really good nick then £2450 is about right. Check the rear arches .... if they are rusting it's biggish money to put them right.

Had a look it needs bonnet resprayed and few more marks all over.

It had a air pipe missing from just above the alternator this was sucking very loud any ideas on where it shOuld go?

Another thing was oil around the intercooler hose

And the guy touched the ht leads and got a shock is the above normal?

It's a buyer's market mate, none of that sounds great, might be something, might be nothing, but it certainly doesn't sound like a cherished well looked after example.

Walk away as there are planty of other good ones around.
