DCCD test to check working
Hi, newbi here,
Looking to buy Sti PPP hawkeye and need to ask how do you check the DCCD is working?
Also genuine PPP hav wheels , exhaust, remap, wheels, yes? anything else?
I have found thread saying to check cert, de cat down pipe, etc again how do you prove authenticity of cert?
All replies greatly recieved.
Cheers

On my Type R I put the DCCD wheel all the way to the rear, put the car on full lock and pull forward until you feel resistance, then put the wheel back into it's original position and it'll clunk back again
Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Put it in manual, put the dial to the bottom green, go forward left/reverse left, forward right/reverse right (on full lock), there should be no sounds, no resistance.
If you then move it up to the first orange you do the same, you will feel the resistance, putting it in green will release the diff, thats about the only test you can do.

And they aint trying to get the back out on the car, you go forward and reverse, if you wanted to do it at 40mph then go for it, 10mph is enough to test the diffs

Floor it into a roundabout and lift off...
if the back comes round it's working fine
dunx
P.S. No harm in locking it for a test, IMHO, just don't do it all the time.
