Td04 turbo if am right. Turbo surge is no good. I was running dump valve delete for a long time & recently put on a BOV & noticed much better throttle response.

I'm in two minds about whether a dump valve Is better cus it's dumpin all the air and making the turbo fill the system again where as with surge it's only dumping what can get out ten your straight back on the power again but anyway I was wondering if theses turbos are strong enough for it

TD series turbos are tough, however it all depends on the condition etc. Small turbo wont make much noise though.

i recently removed my recirculation valve and blanked off the DV and the difference was night and day, as said the power was much quicker on changing.

We were discussing this the other night with a couple of friends. Our theory was with no dump valve the turbo will be on boost quicker
