What's the difference between colour code 262 (silver) and 406 (silver)? Is it that one is Japanese silver, the other UK?

The reason I ask is that I have a 262 silver MY93 WRX, and I want to put a high level spoiler on. I might be able to buy a 406 silver spoiler from someone, but I don't want to bother if it means having to get it resprayed.

So, is there a noticeable difference between these two colours?

Don't know if this is of any use, but some of the black scoobies have a metallic fleck in the paint mine has red flecks but green is also available, maybe this type of variation is also available on silver cars also. Hope this is of some use m8.
