Default turbo 2000 - intake temp on dyno

Why is my intake temp near 40-50 degrees when ambient temp is 17. has always been the same on the dyno i have used. is it the poor intake on the classic taking in air above radiator. the fan they use or somethong else. have seen graphs for.newage cars.on same dyno and their diff is about 10 degrees which is spot on. so i know their kit works. help please
