I've just stripped 3rd gear this morning, I a bit of a pi**ed off mood at the minute, but I was expecting it as I'm pushing arround the 400 make on my standerd wrx box.
What are my options? 6 speed or dog box or srandered again, a friend of mine works for a company that can cyroenically harden the gears, so I could just go for standerd?

What do you lot think? Or has anyone got anything for sale?

if you're pushing 400+ and plan to go more then 6 speed is a good choice as any standard 5 speed will struggle to last over 360. There are plenty on here running big numbers on a 5 speed but its all down to how hard the box gets treated.

Not sure on costings for PPG etc but a 6 speed can be done for £1500-2000 if you shop around.

ppg is prob 3-4k, clinics 5 speeder is cheaper.

p-roblem with 6 speed is ratio's. but thats a personal choice
