Coilover Advice.
hi all,
New guy and after abit of advice.
I am looking for a set of coilovers for my W plate turbo 2000 GC8
Can anyone suggest where to get them from for cheap, or does anyone have any up for sale at a good price, would prefer second hand to keep the cost down.
cheers
James

what do you class as cheap? And why coilovers mate?
I was going to go for coilovers on my X reg 2000 but I can get Sti red shocks and 40mm springs for £200 and thats waaaay less than any 2nd hand coilovers.

If you're going to do it, do it properly - spend the right cash and get the newer design coilovers where there's seperate hight and spring length adjustment, rather than the one platform that moves the spring length as the ride will be terrible.

bit of a free plug here, but I am looking at buying a new set of shocks in the next few months as mine have developed the lovely "knocking" sound you get on Newage impreza's.
best deal I have found is from scooby world.
they are doing BC Coilovers (which from what I have heard are awesome) for £649.99 (£50 off), and they come with free adjusters for the rear shocks.
Check them out here:

I've not used them on an impreza but i have used MeisterR coilovers on both my Skylines and I loved them i thought they handled well and were quite reasonably priced might be worth a look?

i'll second loco's post on the BC's. fitted these to my classic a few months back and they are damn good. they adjust ride height without changing spring length or damper travel so they dont screw up handling.
