Default Subaru Servicing Bedford Way

Hi All,

Just moved to Flitwick, who is the best around these parts for a modded and mapped classic ?

Probably due a service before the winter sets in...

All the best,

I'm from Bedford but do all mine own stuff at work. I think there maybe a place on Ampthill Road they may specialise in performance cars but I only use specialists for mapping. I'll try and find the name of the place.

It's worth travelling to Northampton to have someone like Zen work on the car, it's not a million miles away and you know it's in safe hands then.

Cheers, car is already mapped by Simon / JollyGreenMonster and don't mind trip to Surrey Rolling Road for any remap when I get round to more mods and upping the power.

Just after a reliable place to get service. Running 318.5bhp so no cowboys ;o)

@MicaDan - Northampton is not far at all and heard good things of Zen. Can you send me URL.

Took my car to Northants Subaru but they missed a few key things that Simon at JGM pointed out straight away and once I got sorted running like a dream.

Here you go mate...

I'm in Northampton too, and put it this way, i wouldn't take my car to Northampton Subaru. Never had a particularly good experience with main dealers. they lack the passion that specialists have, probably why they missed things on your car.

Just one thing though, is Zen only mapping now and not doing mechanical/servicing work anymore? I maybe wrong though

I haven't visited them for a while as I had a short stint in an Evo (yes i'm better now ), so there's a possibilty between then and now that they have changed their business, seems to be where the money is at these days (mapping) with the number of owners who service their own cars.

Apologies if this is the case!

Failing that i've also heard good things about Silverstone Autosport...

http://www.silverstoneautosport.co.uk/subaru.html

They are an authorised Subaru service centre.

I've always had good experiences with RGS, but that's a few years ago now and not on a Scooby.

Sorry to do a bit of thread hijack but is anyone familiar with Hurst Cars in Bedford?

I'm in Derbyshire but looking at their website they have quite a lot of scoobs, including 2 low mile sti ppp's which I've enquired about, sent them 3 emails and an answerphone msg and I've not heard a thing back??

They dont seem to have a premises even though they claim to 29 cars in stock, I'm starting to think there is something a bit amiss.

Hi. There's a place in Bedford called Blackridge Autos. His name is Mark and specialise mainly in Subaru. He also does Track Day preparation. Recently done the clutch and flywheel on my V2 Sti. Highly recommended !!!
