Default What to do, help???

Well here's how it goes bought a set of bugeye shocks with prodrive springs off a fellow member on SC. All goes well paid and delivered etc.

Kept them in the box until the morning of fitting where I took them up to rick @ taylor motors (what a great guy).

Idea was to use the prodrive springs on my shocks and bin the set which springs came off.

Anyway have them fitted turns out fronts are prodrive stamped springs which have lowered the front although rears springs (no stamp) are standard sprayed the same colour blue as the
prodrive!!!!

As you can imagine I'm a tad gutted and disapointed as I've
paid for these an paid to have
them fitted at a pointless cost.

Pm'd the seller ( dont want to name) no reply to my question
of how can we resolve this? Or
part refund maybe?

What are your thoughts guys
has anyone been in a similar
situation? And what do you
think I should do? Any help
greatly appreciated

Have I just been dumb enough To trust that they were genuine
prodrive springs?

Cheers martin

its not a case of being dumb enough its a case of trusting him?
to his credit he might not of known they was fake?!
but also he should grace you with a reply and sort it out with you
i would give him a few days then get onto sc and name and shame him to warn others
atleast he should offer you a refund
hope this helps paul

Just a quick update. Spoke to seller who wanted pics of how my car was sitting on the springs so I sent them. Then he asked for my mobile number and the garages number they were fitted at to speak to them also..........

Two days later no call to the garage and heard nothing back. Rang today didt answer call! Left three text messages one of which said " can you call me"

Now I'm loosing patience as I've now bought some eibach springs to replace these dodgy prodrive ones but will have to pay more labour costs to have them swapped over again! Nightmare

Contacted paypal so opening a dispute to try get my money back that way. Dont want to go down the name n shame road but feel other members should be made aware incase this happens to them

I would contact the seller one last time and say that if they continue to ignore you or provide an explanation you will have no alternative but to name and shame them on scoobynet.

Thank for your reply
