legacy bbs alloys on classic with 4pot's will they fit ? been offered a legacy twin turb and want to kep my wheels if i do it

The 5 spoke GTB 17" alloys from the BG5 series (95 to 98) don't fit over the 4 pot calipers on a classic.

I'd guess no, worth asking over on the Legacy forum.

From memory, I think if you grind down the subaru lettering on the calipers the legacy wheels can fit.

i'm not doing that mite be doing a deal on it for my impreza but i want to keep my wheels and lots more lol said he could keep them if they fit but dont thing they will

This was my old GTB, these 17" alloys don't fit over 4 pots on a classic.



Loved the GTB, getting tempted to get another.

going to get ether a legacy or sti wagon to replace the animal on the drive as need the boot space

And this is my wagon, owned it 12 yrs now. The hatch space is useful, but the GTB is like Dr Who's Tardis, makes a very good, comfortable and fast family car.

The wagon is a v3, managed 326 @ 7,250 rpm and is more or less standard. The gtb managed 276 bhp after 90,000 miles. In 3rd gear when the 2nd turbo cuts in, the acceleration from 95 to 130 is staggering. Only downside with the gtb is making sure you don't get caught in the valley of death between the two turbos when overtaking.

p.s. The slightly newer gtb, the bh5, held the land speed record for a production estate car at something close to 170 mph.
