Default What figures??

Hi all
I'm currently in the process of tuning my 05 sti. The mods so far are
Full 3" decat
3 port
Green panel filter
Running 340 bhp
The bits that I have to go on the car are;
Md321t
Gt spec headers + up pipe
650 injectors
Fmic
Short ram induction
Silicone turbo inlet hose
Then of course a re map of Duncan aka Racedynamix
Just wondering what power roughly I'd be getting with these mods and is there any thing I have missed??
Thanks all

it all depends on how much boost duncan feels the engine will take

my03 with near enough the same mods mapped by dunc made near enough 440 @ 1.8 bar but every car is different

after market ones allow a finer and much more detailed tune craig, also on the simtek you can have all the ecu toys, as for bhp 435ish i reckon,.

The standard ECU can actually be better than some aftermarket ones, but only to a point and after that an aftermarket one may be more beneficial.
Note not all functions that a standard ecu have are available on some after market ecu's so you have to choose carefully if you go that way.

Id be happy with that mate
What does the car feel like? Is it laggy? Been thinking of sending turbo on to lateral to get it changed to billet. Am I right in thinking it's no more power just alot better spool???

Well what can i say, it spins all four wheels! I have a 2.5" downpipe & not the best headers in the world but still in 4th gear starting from 25mph foot to the floor & its making 1.5 bar at 4200rpm, then holding 1.65-7bar all the way. To be very honest i dont notice any lag at all & dont even get a chance to look at the boost gauge, or the AVCR to monitor boost. Thats how quick & blurry things become. I just cant imagine any more power being civilised.

So your in for a good'un!

To answer your question regarding the billet, I would assume it would aid in better spool up + gain abit more power. After all its a billet.

Let us know how you get on

evening guys. The figures people have quoted above are in the right region. Lateral spec 450bhp at circa 1.6 bar. i had a 321t on my track car. it was running meth and also on a 2.5 so a bit different to your setup, but i was seeing 485bhp and 456ftlb. i was seeing a bar at 2800rmp and 1.6 bar at 3900 holding at 1.5 to 7300rpm.
My dads runnignin his new motor at the min due to be mapped at weekend. He's runnign a billeted T. After speaking to mark, im quietly assure that an extra 8-10% power can be had from a billet, and 200-300 rpm quicker spool, but we'll see what weekend brings.

Nothing with it, will work good. If you are really fussed about spool then Harveys uppipe is recommended and good gains are to be had. I have not the best 1 piece headers/uppipe and i still see 1bar at 3800rpm and full boost it 4.2k.
