I'm in the middle of changing my turbo and intercooler.. I have a decat uppipe which I was planning on putting on.
Now I've had enough and cannot do it.
I'm debaiting wheather to just leave it off. Can't be worth all the hassle?

Everythings so hard to get too. Bolts are impossible to crack! Took me 2 days to take downpipe and turbo off as the bolts really wasn't budging! As I'm only in cheltenham.. Think ill just take it to power station!

Take the headers off, its only 6 bolts and easily accesable, then you can get the lot in a vice and have a go at it. You might need to loosen the engine mount and jack up the engine to get the headers/uppipe off in 1 go.
Or just soak the bolts overnight and attack it next day

take to someone who does it, day in and day out,
wit a bit of heat and wobbly extentions theyll have it all done quite quick. trying at home with multi hex sockets and spaners is just recipe for disaster if your also a bit unsure if techniques
good luck

On the bugeye I found it easier to take the drivers side wheel off, remvoe the plastic panel then attack it. You may have tried this but as you say your using ramps thought I would suggest it.

Compared to some, this job is a doddle.
Swapping uppipe.
Drop the D/P.
Undo the bolts, headers to uppipe.
Loosen but do not remove three nuts on each header to cylinder head.
Now undo the nuts holding the uppipe. 5# in total if they are all there.
Remove U/P.
If it will not come loosen the two bolts, collector to the rest of headers/cross pipe and it will fly out.
Alternative : Least preferred option.
If it will not come out with lots of twisting, slack engine mountings. Do not totally undo. Jack engine and pipe drops out.
Try to get pipe out first before undoing mountings for engine.
