It depends on who is doing it as it's an hourly charge usually.

The original mapper can see his map so a re-map is more of a tweak. A different mapper cannot see the original map so has to start from a map of his own.... which takes longer.

As shaun says, a map tweek by the original mapper is around £75-150 whereas a full map will be around £300+ vat by another mapper

no way, talk to Simon at Jollygreenmonster. ECUtek is usually £150+ vat for the license (which you have) then mapping time.

What year is your car? if its a 2001/2 bugeye then you can go open source for £300

I recommend Simon @ JGM, more than happy with his mapping work (and free advice on what to do/replace to get it running best)

Opensource is licence free ECU mapping software....

For £150 EcuTeK mapping that would be for a map tweak rather than a start -to- finish full mapping session.I would expect.

At the end of the day it's the mapper you pay for not the software, I'd let bob Rawle map my car with a Spectrum ZX if it had the software LOL

EcuTeK has spent a lot on Research and opensource is almost self developed, both have good and bad points. ECuTeK seem to exploit the fly by wire very well....you pay your money and take your choice.
