The new S60 is super rapid. I had a test drive earlier in the year. A very stable car as well. To many electrics driving it for my liking.

link is me having some fun

S60R is 300bhp.
The T5 can be chipped cheaply and reliably to over 300bhp. They are fairly rapid once moving with a nice slug of mid range torque.

What turbos and gearbox does it have? That's a nice sleeper.

Was not much in it at all, just had the edge on it

"you probly couldnt drive your car to the max????"

Firstly my good man, at least learn to spell correctly, secondly, I was hammering Sapphire Cosworths on track days while you were still hanging on your mothers teet! I didn't say this dude came sailing by sideways at 130mph.. He was in my mirrors.. that's all.. of course your STI would eat it up.. but I'm in a near standard WRX wagon..

Superchips modification on a 2010 BMW 325d E90 gives 558nm Torque..

What does your STI put out?

Yes, I bit..

thats not really true, with an immediate remap on most modern turbo diesels you might see good gains in hp and more so torque however petrol engines will always be better and easier to extract high power from.

To the OP have you never thought why do most traffic cops use big Volvo estates?

I think you have just found out though..

They are rapid and have Awd that's why.

Volvo have had fairly quick cars since the 90s with the 850 turbo 220 BHP then the T5 and the 850 T5R think they had around 240bhp..

Indeed! All that torque is helpful when pulling a pile of signs, cones and other equipment about in the back as well!

My mate has a V70R, it's astonishing for a big car.

I have no such lack of power issues to deal with him though
