Default When replacing turbo

Does the pipe that returns the oil to sump from turbo need a pipe clamp on it as I had a jubilee clamp on it when we had the lump out of car and can't see how I can redo this up with every thing in place any views in this ?

I think you'd have to be a genius to get a jubilee clip on it when replacing the turbo with the engine in place

I've fitted two different turbos to my MY98 without using a clip and without problem.

Anyway, it's hard enough fitting without a clip

+1 for the above, it is normally held on with 2 spring clips, secure the bottom one and use a really long pair of long nosed pliers(12'+)and hold the top clip open till you drop the turbo on. Then simply pull the clip up the pipe and release - job done.

And again, make sure it is attached to the turbo and then let gravity and friction do the rest!
