Default Great Day at Donington Yesterday

Did a Focused Events Trackday at Donington yesterday, Full GP circuit for £125, Awesome day, lovely weather until half 4 when it started raining.

Paid for half an hour Tuition from BTCC Winner Tim Harvey, Picked up a few good points.

All in all the day was brilliant, the car was awesome, first trackday with most the mods and bhp increase.

BUT a few things towards the end of the day__

1. The car was understeering quite bad uneless i really scrubbed the speed off.

2. Brakes became very spongey after a few laps, still stopped me but my foot would be on the floor.

3. And something i noticed that i never noticed before is that once your foot is on the brake the steering is basically impossible to move, you become locked in a straight line until you have fully released the brake then after a split secong the steering become light again.
I know you shouldnt be braking going around corners but it really doesn't seem right!!!

4. The Front left pads are now completely gone but the right pads hardly wore down, I'm guessing thats a sticky caliper.

Any advice on solving the issues or what could be causing them?

Mods that effect these areas

Tein Flex Coilovers
Strut Braces
Oem Brembo Calipers
Godspeed Discs
Yellow stuff pads
AST blue racing brake Fluid
18" R888's

Sounds like a good day!

Never used them myself but I have heard of people complaining about brembos going off on track quite quickly, so I would look at upgrading your brakes, maybe try your pads first? Sure someone will be along with info on yellow stuff pads
