The Euro/UK spec don't get heater mirrors. I don't know about the Jap models but I think they are the same.
I have heard that the Forester mirrors do have the heating elements in them and that the wiring is in the Impreza so in theory if you bought some Forester mirrors, it would be easy to get this working.
Whether or not any of this is true I don't know - I was going to investigate and get this done (if poss) before next winter as that's when I'll need them most.....

I was reading in my owners hand book about heated mirrors, are these standard or do we not get them on Euro spec cars, like all the other fad gadgets we don't get or is the snow and ice here in Germany to cold for the mirrors to defrost.
If we don't get them as standard then can we fit them and if so does anybody know how much it will cost and how much agrovation it is to fit the wiring etc.
