Default interior issue

Hey all.

ive recently got an interior off scoobyparts for my 99 uk turbo. the interior he was selling was from a 98 model, but he did tell me it still fits. which in a way it does fit, but it doesnt have anything to hold the rear backrests in place, also doesnt fit flush. does anybody know of any way to secure the backrests in place or do i have yo shell out for the proper interior?

Thanks

Strange, I've gone the other way with no problem.

Mibne has a pair of steel rods set into the top rear of the backrest, they hook over metal twin hooks on the front of the firewall. Then there are three bolts which go through steel wire loops and hold it down. It was the same on both cars, even though my 98 car was split fold seats.

Is the 98 model interior from a UK saloon?
