when to lock the diff

Default when to lock the diff

So on the 2008 onwards and new 2010s,

under what situation would you require to LOCK the diffs ?

Full Lock -Almost none - maybe stuck in slippery mud and trying to get moving? At the start of a drag strip and open it once you're moving properly?

oky so as i thought it acts the same was as in the old school audi quatros, locks all the wheels so they turn together thus getting you outa a hole

Yeah it helps. just dont run it for normal driving as you will wind the transmision up and trust me you do NOT want that

Fully locked mine a couple of times in the snow & it works great!
