Subaru specialists?
Hi, I now have all the desired parts for a major service and looking to get the job done. Does anyone know a good Subaru specialist that's based around Manchester/Oldham? Also wanted to sort a few other stuff out (decat bypass) and have the car checked out to make sure everythings fine. Please don't reply if they are unreliable cowboys 'cause i've got enough if them in every corner here! I need someone trustworthy who I will use regular. Thanks.

Prosport in Stockport (0161 4329999), Pete has been working on scoobs for nearly 20 years, not much he doesnt know about them, not the cheapest but the work is top quality and he doesnt do the BS factor, gives you a very straight answer.
Just avoid the dealer in rochdale.

Ah hence why you were not recommended a fuel filter, 8 year/80k service if the garages have done it correctly
Remember its age/mileage not just mileage! (unless you have exceeded the recommended miles per year).
For example my car is a 2003 STI, she has 26k on the clock, first service when I bought her was a full (all belts/lubricants/plugs) service, not cheap but I know the garage did the job properly

Has anyone heard of E.D.Edmondson? I have an offer on a full service with MY parts, remap and rolling road for £400. Spoke to Anthony, seems good but just want to know if anyone's used them. Thanks.

not heard of E.D.Edmondson before and i've been on this forum since 2002 !!
as mention above Prosport is the best in manchester (they do remap as well )but not the cheapest ...so all depends on what yr after quality or value
i've been a customer of Prosport since 2002 , and I've tried other(cheap) places in manchester with regrets , so all my P1 works goes to them (actually my P1 in Prosport right now awaiting a forged 2.35 conversion.....)

I quoted the customer around £400 for the total job, which i think is fair in the current market. Long gone are the days were i can charge £600 for a remap....People are offering remaps for crate of stella these days....
Yes your right around £100 to service (we charge 35 per hour , about 3 hours.) open source remap £250 and a dyno run after £50.
In no way is quality compramised and i also have some very high profile cars out there....
Im good friends with pete @ prosport, im sure he will vouch for me....
