soon to be in the land of employment and looking to get my first scoob this month. Probably get a 98 sti ideally (or dare i say it, an evo IV)
Wondered if you had any tips to avoid picking one which has been hammered.(i seem to see alot of STI's with engine rebuilds!) Also, any ideas which mods pile the insurance on and by how much?
cheers

Well - I'm driving a 99 WRX with Scooby Sport back box and 7 years no claims - 35 Years old Married with Kid and Mortgage. Insurance is costing me around £700 pa.
The costs go up for each mod that adds BHP %
Privilege quoted (From memory)
+ 10 % BHP = + £20 pa
+ 20 % BHP = + £50 pa
+ 30 % BHP = + £100 pa
Over 30 % = + £170 + pa
