When is mileage a big factor when deciding to go that little bit more,

Currently running 343ish mapped by B Rawle about two years ago,

Car is sti v8 ppp, with harveys headers wrapped/ported, cold grade plugs K&N panel filter 3" decat d/p

Suspension is all whiteline arb,s and bc coilovers.

Car is fully serviced by subaru every year although i give them the oils !!.

Iam looking to go to around 400 which im guessing is td05 20 or similar caik 600+ cc injectors and before someone mentions i dont want fmic..

Hopefully that will get me somewhere near it, but................The car has now done 105,000 miles, although it has never missed a beat other than a 02 sensor..

So what to do, I dont want to blow her up as i love her so much !!!!

Gauges ? If the oil pressure is sound, 400 bhp isn't likely to kill it.

Mine was running 2+ bar of boost but eventually just started to lift the heads, if I'd known we could have re-torqued the head bolts...

My original clutch gave up at 360 ft.lb's so budget for that as well !

And finally if your suspension is tired 400 bhp will make it feel like a whale in a hurricane. IMHO.

Did I mention the brakes ?

Brakes and suspension are only about 14the old so should be fine, hadnt thought about clutch !! Taking car up nxt week for health check and see where we are and take it from there. Hope it will be ok !
