Question

I have just bought an AP-22 accelerometer and power measuring device from race-technology (www.race-technology.com) - it's a great gadget. I have a standard '99 impreza turbo and am getting 192BHP at the wheels. Does anyone have any experience using an AP-22 or have BHP at the wheels figures? It's important to get the air drag and rolling resistance correct - any idea what an impreza'a cdA figure is?

Question

Are you sure thats its working ok with your car putting out 218 bhp in standard form, this is not much of a loss through the drivetrain for a 4wd vehicle!!!!!
Even most imports on

Thanks for the reply - I'm pretty sure the meter is reading OK as I get 157BHP at the wheels from a chipped golf VR6 + throttle body conversion that I know is giving 200BHP at flywheel from proper dyno tests. Maybe that means my "standard" impreza is actually not standard (I've only just bought it and the garage said it was a fast one but denied it had been modified). I'll be taking it along to Prodrive to check it out.
