Default wrx insurance

hi
just in the process of buying a wrx import 1993 and struggling to get insurance under £1000

im over 30 with years of no claims and had a mr2 turbo insure for next to nothing but struggling now!

anybody know any good company to try?

keith micheals, a-plan or sky insurance are the main 3 for these cars

i found post office to be cheapest i am 32, 6 year no claims £313 per year not too bad for 96 sti

There's a lot of places out there that will rip you off, I know I have called a few lol
Eventually I went with Adrian Flux. I am 40 and I have just got the policy down to £371 but I have a few extras and pay £481 which is still cheaper than all the other quotes I got

Bloody hell not sure what it is like down in England for insurance but it seems more expensive than Scotland. I have never been more than 500

hey, thanks for the replies, went thru gary at kiethmichaels in the end gave me the best quote as it is quite modded up. just under £800 so quite happy.
