Default Back in the Fold [Pics]

Well after a year out of the fold due to financial difficulty, i've now recovered and splashed out on another scoob. This time an '03 STI (my favourite looking shape) with 44k miles on.

Drove circa 700 miles for this beauty, on the way home though in the last stint i started using the throttle and unfortunately had a little coming together with a bunny at a not so sensible speed - physics dictated that my splitter would shatter, it did Literally 10 minutes from getting it back to my house too

Oh well another one ordered.

The drive is amazing, was dead set on getting an Evo 8, drove a few and loved - almost committed to a red FQ300 but thought i'd give the impreza a go. Result was not expected; was pants down a better handling car (that said it has had circa 5k spent on chassis setup)

I drive a lot of cars through work and can honestly say this is THE best handling car i've ever put through its paces.

It's also had a TSL 333 tune up

Anyway, only got it y'day so pics are a bit primitive as yet..

Super fast splitter vs bunny:

So bit of an update after 2 weeks. So far spent £1500 on her already, i really forgot how much these cars cost :lol

First off replaced the splitter the rabbit gave up its life for

Made the hour drive to Alan Jeffery's place for the AP clutch to be fitted, had quite a few big scooby builds on the go down there i had a snoop around..

Also got the sports cat wrapped - more pops and bangs now

Also after 2 weeks of ownership i've decided I prefer the look of the standard gold wheels, but i can't go down to them because of the front brake setup grrr, so if anyones interested in swapping my 8 pots fro standard brembo's and standard wheels for mine then let me know

More pops & bangs because of the sports cat being wrapped?

I'm don't realise how that can happen? Anyone shed any light?

Lovely car though. Glad your having fun with it.

Welcome back mate, what a way to return. Your car is lovely, why don't you just get your wheels re-painted gold
