Default Brembo discs and pads

Ordered set of brembo discs and pads ( front ) for our 05 wrx from Nextdaybrakes.com ordered at 21.00 last night just been delivered what a service. Theres a timer on website if you order day before before timer runs out delivered next day free of charge. £102.00 delivered next day thought that was pretty decent

Would Brembo disks n pads for my 2001 Bug WRX be better than kevlar pads and grooved/drilled disks from an unknown make...Godspeed...etc?

kevlar pads are great pads m8 but i would draw the line at the unknown brands of discs. I put decent pads and unknown brand grooved discs on our evo 8 and it destroyed them within a couple of months. I would rather have brembos discs and pads than decent pads and unknown discs some might be alright but ones i put on evo were shocking.

If they're genuine that's cheap, shows the mark up some traders are making on their chinese imports

It's not a bad price to be fair, it is a standard setup though and not man enough for most ScoobyNetter's though who would benefit from a fast road package for similar money.

I wouldn't call Godspeed unknown mate, the guy know's his brakes, has been involved in the industry for years and comes from a genuine motorsport background. The discs he makes in house, well the fact he warranties them even for track use I think say's it all!

Sorry about the 'unknown' reference...didn't mean they were no good....just meant that 'I' have heard of Brembo....lol
..I did do a lot of reading up on those Grooved disks and kevlar pads from Godspeed and was very impressed with over 20 threads about how good they are and I was really close to getting the package for the front but in the end I decided to just go for Brembo pads for money reasons....
....I don't really have £100 spare at the moment and £35 for the Brembo pads gets me a basic fix for now as my front pads are in desperate need of changing....maybe I will be able to upgrade next year..
