What am I doing wrong !!
I spend a small fortune on getting my STI to 400bhp+, and apparantly you can do this for next to nothing by changing nothing under the bonnet and just remapping a WRX and fitting a Carbon bonnet

Hahah yea Rob I would hold on to yours mate something tells my you might be let down buy that one cant put my finger on it though lol

I like how if you click on the Power/Ecconomy tab it says 225 BHP
e-mail sent the dealer and ask which is it 400 or 225 BHP..... Wonder if i'll get a reply

so if any really are 410bhp. with £35000 spent i would buy the car and put the engine etc in a proper shell,
so would complete my part of the ebay contract if the item is as described.
i bet people who use text speak and fit "engine mountains" and "boost gages" arent really honest in their listings.
i think you can usually tell the ones who are stretching the truth in listings.

told me it had sti brakes fitted then supplied a receipt for new wrx pads and discs,
i did ask about this and he told me wrx and sti have the same brakes. to which i replied mine has brembos fitted.
but he informed me the wrx ones are better anyway.
so not sti brakes then.

Thought I would share this with you guys whilst on this subject
When my car is on show at events throughout each year I have often found myself standing near my car listening to comments coming from a crowd of guys looking in the engine bay.
I've even joined in ridiculous conversations with them as some have had no idea I own the car they are talking about, and you would be on the floor crying when you hear half the **** I've heard.
Some of the more memorable remarks I remember are:-
"ear look, there's that RCM Scoobynet P1, innit?"
"He's spent at least 3 grand on that engine" followed by his mate laughing and saying " **** off you to55er, an engine like that will cost you at least 8K"
Whilst standing there with both hands on my slam panel, leaning over the engine doing a Ron Denis impression one guy calmly said to his two mates, " I've seen this thing on Youtube, and it's twin turbo"
"Roger Clark Motorsport?, never heard of em"
"alright chav, my mates got a black one of these"
"wonder what made him paint his turbo casing cream?"
In a Sainsburys car park one Saturday a dear old boy about 80 yrs old said to me whilst holding my rear wing -
"I like this, where did you buy it"
"My mates Corsa would have this thing all day long"
"Good bunch those RCM guys mate, I know Alan Clark who drives The Gobstopper"
Lat year at Japbash I took a 2 hour wander around the show and left my mates who were sitting near my P1. For a laugh they made up a For Sale sign and left it propped up at the back of the engine bay.
"For Sale. Bla Bla Bla £ 3.500:00 OVNO"
There were FIVE guys seriously interested
