what engine

i have a catalunya 1997 2000 impreza .whats the engine called need to order rocker gasket. am cr.p at this please help ......

Its on the vin plate, ej20, buy them from import car parts, best price.

ej20 but you will see whn you look them up they are the same up until 2000 I think.
