i think its more a dispointment i was used to the punch of the small 28 i think twisted is the only real way of getting the punch back by getting rid of the lag,as for what ill be going for im unsure theres alot of options and i agree you should do alot af research and know exactly what you want before you go for it its best to try and spend the money once although its not always that straight forward, you,ve got the perfect engine to start with so choose wisely, how many horses are you used to?

i was running at 300 before the rebuild and just waiting to get it back! but saving for bigger turbo now for bigger bhp, but like you say dont want too much turbo lag!

Enginetuner built my S-CDB and say it will be fine for up to 550 bhp
dunx
P.S. I'll stick to 500 to be sure & why would a twisted turbo be less laggy with all that extra pipework in the system...?

When we are build our project we are want like you 400bhp,but later we are change plans few times and now we are hoping for nice 500bhp without the going rotated/twisted.
If you could find nice MD321T,you will be happy with this turbo, because find SC46 billet used is almost impossible.

sorry m8 didnt answer the rest of your post to be honest the level im at is the limit of my knoledge and when i research my next step i will know more but reduced lag with twisted is what i was told by my tuners untill i have it fitted i cant comment on my exsperiance although i do know my car is now no good off the mark so surely twisted cant get any worse?
