Before I start this is not a my car's faster/ bigger/ better than yours thread and is not intended to offend any Ford owners it is told how it was and thats that.
Picture the scene, it's a cool Monday evening it's getting rather late and I'm driving home looking forward to my bed, when I stumble across a very mean looking GGR Escort Cossie, I was in no mood to play silly buggers with this chap as I was tiered and driving on the force, so I'm stuck behind this chap and all I realy want to do is get to bed.I had followed him for a while and was getting irritated with his road presence so I slowed a touch to let him go, but then he suddenly slowed as well, to my amasement.As I say I did not want to play, let alone with something that looked so mean and evil it could have come straight from satans bottom.Now I wanted to turn off but that would have been the long way home so I decided to wake up a bit and sped up,we both turned at a 90 left then he decided to hit the loud pedal and caught me completly off boost, after about 4000 rpm in the latest edition to the STI family things started to happen and I woke up big time when I heard a warning buzzer begging me to change up to 3rd at 6500rpm, I agreed and engaged probably the best gear in my car to then see the back of this beast growing bigger and bigger I felt like REX HUNT reeling in the big one, I then had to apply the 330mm Brembo brake to save myself from HELL or repositioning his base boxes, now this awesome looking cossie had blacked out windows so he probably could'nt see me or my car, at this point we both seemed to be going in the same direction and turned left at a roundabout at no great speeds ( as I keep to the limits )I overtook this oman like car that once seeing the beast from the east decided to poodled off home with it's satanick tail between it's legs.
I was tempted to get out and kiss the car like REX HUNT does and then tag and release it but I thought better off it.
This was the short and edited version.
All this was carried out on a private test road somewhere in the northern hemisphere.
Joking aside this cossie was probably standard as my car is a big heavy lump and also standard, if the cossie was tuned I would have gone straight to hell but in this case SUBARU 1 COSSIE 0
