Who sells KYB shocks at a good price for STI 03-04 model?

+2 for camskill...I purchased some rear kyb's from them last year for my classic.

I need the fronts soon and will be looking on camskill's site first.

I got my 04 STI kyb ultra sr from euro car parts £220.34p for the pair but that was oct 2010.

Are these Kyb hard on the road? I need some comportable ride for my 1 year old son. My KW v3 are to hard, even on softest setting

The KYB are a direct replacement for your car's oem shocks, so will be the same.

KYB's are not the same as OE's. They are dual tubed whereas the OE's are mono tubed, and a better damper.

KYB's will do a pretty decent job, and should be softer than the V3's, although not quite as good a performer

Now which springs can I use with the KYB shocks? Prodrive springs anygood or standard STi springs? Tein maybe etc?

All those springs will be fine, Tein will give you a 35mm drop that makes the car look pretty aggressive

I would recommend Prodrive springs, and would advise you to keep as far away as possible from Tein S-Tech's
