0-60 spec on a remapped hawkeye?
Hi guys,
I just bought a 2007 2.5 WRX.
It has stage 1 mods done on it, backbox, centre, decat, fuel pump, air filter.
The guy showed me a dyno printout showing 285bhp/345lbs.
He told me that 0-60 is about 4.9 secs, I personally feel this is optimistic.
But can anyone give me a more informed guess as to what my car is capable of.
I know 0-60 times mean nothing in the real world, but it's just interesting for me to know.
I know standard my car is about 225bhp and 0-60 is 5.7seconds, but mods are minimal and I doubt it would have slashed a second off the time.

dont pay to much attention to 0-60 , but i doubt a wrx would do that time, an STI with 280 as standard is quoted as 5.4, but its more about torque and drivablity. Again quoted and what it does on the road is diff, since its normally pro drivers used to gain those times

Try this for a rough guess.

Getting good 0-60 times require treating the car brutally though; certainly not something to be done regularly unless you have deep pockets. A measurement where a fast car really comes into its own is in the 30-70 increment and then the 60-90 increment.
