Default MillTek Backbox exhaust ??

How loud/quiet are these ?

I have a Blitz Nur spec at the minute but want something slighty quieter, not too quiet, still want that burble but just less intrusive.

Also, as they are a 3" bore, would they mate upto the Blitz centre section, which is also 3" or do they have the standard flange hole positions,(blitz has its flange bolt holes at 9 o clock and 3 o clock, standard i think is 11 o clock/5 o clock) or do they require a millteck centre section ?

from the pic,it looks like they have the 3/9 o clock holes,if you level the hanger up touchin the floor

cheers

I have a great quality s.s. turbo-back full system, which I don't need: Syms (Jap tuning house) sports cat, resonated centre and quiet back box.

It's 3" bore, but has OEM 2.5" flanges for d/p-to-centre union.

So you could just have the centre + back box, if you already have OEM sized d/p flange...

Here are (bad - ****e cameraphone ) pics of the centre + bb:-

Or I've got a H&S de-res 2.5" centre + Prodrive back box...

Miltek is pretty quiet buddy. I had full 3" de-cat Miltek system on my car originally but sold it because it was toooo quiet.
I also think the Blitz is far to loud and wanted a happy medium. Ended up going for a 'scoobyparts.com' tornado system which suits me perfectly.
Lovely burble, loud at full chat but doesn't drone when at cruising speed.

I don't think the Milltek system is too quiet really. I've got a full 3" system and love it

Where are you based mate and do you have a classic or a newage? If you are near Watford and have a newage you might be able to try my milltek on to see to see if it fits.

Hi

Our 3" Revolution system is well renowned as being a quieter option to the Blitz.
Available as either cat back or turbo back with a genuine 3" bore, it gives good power gains also.

Classic:-

New Age:-

Keith, is that £315 the cost for a true 3" centre + bb only? Or does it include the 3" decat d/p too? Are prices inclusive of 20% VAT?

Also, does your d/p have the boss for the Lambda sensor as cited on my MY99 STi 5?

Hi

The £314.99 price on the website is for the downpipe back system, including rear box and centre sections. This is true 3".
The de cat 3" downpipe is priced @ £219.99.
All prices include VAT @ £20%
The downpipe has the lambda boss suitable for your MY99 STI.

Thanks

Keith
