Gearbox Trouble
HI ALL i have done something to my gearbox ,not sure if its totally broke but here are the symptoms was driving went through 1st and 2nd gear and when i put it in 3rd there was no drive. Gearstick all loose not selecting any gears then some how it went into 3rd gear and is now STUCK in 3rd gear .Gearstick will go up and down but not left to right . Car is 1997 import wagon Any help much appreciated cheers . there were no noises as this happened and will drive in 3rd gear fine using clutch

Sounds like more to do with the selector than the gears themselves. Someone more knowledgable than I on these matters should be along soon and hopefully give you more accurate advice.
