now, now, you two..lol....
the question wasnt who has 600bhp+ ....thats for the other board???

It was who runs proven 10's in a personally owned + funded, daily drive ?

i'm aware of the power figures of other members?
all i wanted to know ...was how many of us have & can do it?

i think you will find plenty that will dick wave with pub figures especially those that are going for high 600s/700s but when it comes to the drag strip .... only a few can boast the 10s, plenty will post their graph though

Well, this is where it gets complicated, and I'd say comparisons are impossible. Martyn ran 10.8/134 in his full weight daily drive classic. I doubt it could have been done much cheaper, even at customer prices, as he deliberately didn't spend much on it. Cheapest 2.1 solution possible, stock heads, stock cams, stock 5 speed box, bolt on turbo and a Simtek. I'm not paying for his motorsport!
He's now been spending time pulling parts off it, rather than lose his pastie ration, in an effort to go faster.

What about the cars that'll easily run a 10, but the owners aren't fussed with doing 1/4 miles?

I know there are a few of those cars around.
