Default V5/6 JDM STi chassis number help

I am looking to fit new OE Subaru V5/6 JDM front suspension struts to my V4 Type R. To get a price etc from my local Subaru dealer, they say they need a chassis number to access their import database.

Can anyone help out?

Thanks

Dont get them from main dealer mate, they are way overpriced, try camskill.co.uk they stock kyb OE stuff.

Thanks for the camskill/KYB heads-up

However, KYB may make the OE struts, but the ones as sold in places like camskill and elsewhere are not the same as the OE ones (although KYB's being quite good).

I would like Subaru's V5/6 OE's (sorry, I'm just a fussy bug*er)

The replacement Kyb are gas shocks 20% uprated over standard, the origanal subaru ones will be oil dampers.

but im sure Kyb being Japanese will have inside info from subaru, seen as they make the origanal ones.

only thing is they come in a nasty bronze colour

Cheers Banny - nice one

I'm hoping they wont be too expensive. I bought two rears for my V4 STi Wagon (different struts to the V5/6 I know) last year and they were £109 each
