If I fit an indcution kit, will it void my manufacturer warranty?

Yes,

just purchased a MY99UK car from a Subaru dealer and have been told any mods may invalidate, and deffo a induction kit, Water contamination causes poor running etc.

Panel filter was ok at one Subaru dealer so long as i bought it if them.

Cheers
