Hi All,

I need some advise on which back box to get for MY2002 WRX.

I am looking for a back box that delivers a nice DEEP Scooby sound but is not LOUD when at high revs!!! Not sure if that is possible

I used to have a Blitz S fitted but that was too loud, now have a Prodrive one on but it is not very deep and is a bit flat!!

Milltek. Second to none for quality, give a nice burble but quiet at the same time. I recently sold a complete 3" system as it was a bit too quiet for my taste.
There was another system for sale recently on here, not sure if it's still available though. Have a scour through the 'for sale' section buddy.
New, they are very expensive so good second hand is the way forward if your on a budget.

Afterburner Vortex. I have one on mine and it isnt too loud at full chat, even with a de-res pipe and sport cat.

I know it's a bit old school but I had a 6x4 oval magnex back box on by 02 WRX Bug and that had a nice sound

I'm in the same boat, the exhaust i have on has an amazing deep burble, its nearly standard apart from back box, i have a new system for it, but worried if i fit it will loose the deep rumble and then i will just cry

I have a Ninja, nice burble but not too ott when giving it some. I think the version 2 one comes with a muffler if your on a motorway run which is handy

As said above Milltek are very good, supplied loads of these on Evo's recently and all love them

could do with some sound clips. had a very good sound on my wrx but forgot what exhaust was on it
