Default The usual Blobeye STi suspension Jip!

As is common on these cars, I've got a 2005 Blob STi and the back passenger side suspension is knocking (quite badly now, as its been doing it for over a year lol!).

Try as I might, I can't seem to find anywhere that sells replacement suspension. I know that the original KYB stuff is a bit ****, hense I might not put that on, but I did find THIS:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RACELAND-Full-...item19c59762e2

Does anyone know if this is A) What I need, and B) Any good?

Thanks a lot!!!!

Great stuff, cheers! I only really wanted to replace the rears, but maybe I'll go all out and do the whole lot, only got to be done once then!

Maybe I'll just be really naughty and replace just the back left suspension, this geezer seems to be selling what I need for £107!

http://www.grahamgoode.com/subaru/pa...oup=114&nav=10

Much cheaper than doing the whole lot!

not a good idea to cut corners on a high performance car

Yeah I know, I'm aware but on the odd occasion, sometimes I just think "yeah, it'll be alright"... knowing it probably wont be lol.

Euro car parts sell kyb STI rears and I'm sure their cheaper than Graham Goode. I got mine from them and I'm sure I only paid around £200 if my memory serves me right.

I bought a full set of KYB's last week for £455 from Camskill:

http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...912s2730p30407

Not sure these will fit your model though, you can e-mail KYB the OE part code and they'll confirm.

Kyb are OE so if they are good enough for Subaru then their good enough for me and their made in Jp I think people say they are cr.p coz they knock but I think that is more to do with the orig design of the whole set up rather than the shock itself.

KYB make the OE shocks, but for £455 quid, I'd sooner fit what I know than a coilover kit that may be too harsh on the country lanes.

I would have fitted Exe-TC coilovers but they discontinued the fast road kit

+1, i put kyb ultras on mine, much better than the oem shocks and eibach springs, with allthe whiteline goodies and strut braces front and back. Huge improvement
