Default JDM headlight harness for Uk wrx??

Hi everyone,

Im really hoping you can help me with this.

I purchased what I thought were prodrive headlights for a bugeye wrx. They have arrived and I believe they are JDM sti lights not prodrive.

I dont actually mind because they look great, the only trouble being I dont have a clue what I need to fit them??

They didnt come with any harness's etc and I guess I will need some sort of plug 'n play adapter?

If anyone could point me in the right direction, either to a thread or some pictures of other peoples cars i would really appreciate it!!

I just want to get them fitted!!

Thank you in advance!

They should just plug and play, don't they have any sockets on them to connect plugs into?

Hi juggers,

Thats for the reply, I think I was in a panic! Yeah they do have sockets on the back. I was looking at my standard lights and I couldnt see the connectors at first because they are still on the car.

I did a quick google search and got mixed up with articles talking about HID conversions. I think these lights just have standard bulbs in them.

Thanks anyway though.

You do need a harness and if you pm JonMc on here he can sort you out some. They are made to oem if not better quality and are very well priced and I have a pair on my bugeye. :thumb;

If its the lights im thinking of you have non HID jdm sti lights that need 9005 connectors for the high beams adapt low beams to bullet connectors and male h4s to connect to your loom.Its probably best to put a picture of the back of them up to be sure.
