Sold my Scoob tonight
Hello fellow Scoobynetters,
Tonight I sold my much loved 2001 modded WRX (96k miles, FSH, Andy F tweaked). Got £3150, which I thought was fine.
Here she is - goodbye green bug!
......Oh well, I can console myself with her replacement - my Litchfield Type 20 Spec C.

Funny thing is the buyer liked the performance (I did drive it pretty hard on the test drive lol!), but wanted to change the Prodrive lights back to std bug.
Takes all sorts!
Actually the bug ran so well and was so lovingly maintained by myself for the past 5 yrs that I'd considered not replacing it. Had planned on an STi and decided to stretch to the Litchfield.
Litchfield is 360bhp. Distinctly quicker that the bug, although the bug was still fun (I had both for 6 weeks). Ms Jock is sad to see the bug go, but i won't go into detail as to why she has fond memories of it.

Very nice I sometimes wish I'd gone for a JDM. Better reliability and better power delivery. Dare I ask how much?

Amazing price! You got a good deal. I've only seen JDM hawkeyes for around the £17k mark, let alone spec c which were higher. When do you feel your boost come in as I know they spool up very quickly?

You don't - it's always quick!
Seriously, very linear with the twinscroll, no later than 2300 revs. In all honesty it happily sits at 30 in 6th, although I prefer 5th.

Well done selling it before hit 100k, price drops alot after 100k unless you've replaced the engine.
Love the upgraded lights on the bug, there ugly without them, really transforms it. As for your new motor, looks the daddy, just get ride of those alloys, don't like gold

As i opened the thread and saw the green bug i thought that doesn't inspire me to drive it, being a type r owner.
And i'm not a hater i like the prodrive bug sti.
Then i remembered my black blob and thought thats the only new age that did it for me.
Then to scroll down and see the spec c in black
It's the only car that could tempt me back into a newage.
I'm sure you know what i mean every time you come outside and see that baby sat there and you've got the keys
Nice choice, very sweet car.

Very nice replacement mate. Was that Callum's old car? If so very well looked after car.
How do you find the ride going from Bug to Type 20? Does the wider track notice much etc?
